Case Study - Lord Wandsworth College

Overview

Nick was appointed in June 2024 to manage and deliver MHR iTrent across Lord Wandsworth College and St Neots Prep Schools in Hampshire. Currently, there are two unconnected payroll systems and the People data is held in various places, necessitating a large degree of manual work to keep it all updated. 

Working with the teams from both schools, Nick's task is to identify the optimum way for the new system to operate and ensure that the new system allows LWC and St Neots to flourish long into the future. Nick has brought years of project experience to ensure that the work undertaken at each stage, is delivered in the most effective way to feed into the next steps. 

Part of the project involves merging multiple data sources to create a homogenous and accurate data set for loading into the new system. This data is critical and must be accurate to ensure the payroll balances. Nick's experience of extracting, transforming and loading the data at Loughborough Schools Foundation on both iSAMS and iTrent Projects means that Lord Wandsworth College and St Neots are in good hands. 

Nick has also been working with the Marketing and Senior Leadership teams to ensure that communications to the wider school community prepare the ground for a successful project. 

The project is scheduled to go live in January 2025.
